We specialize in air-core inductors, which are a type of inductor that doesn't rely on a magnetic core made of ferromagnetic material. Bobbin wound

We make bobbin wound coils in a full range of sizes and types depending upon your requirements. These include the very small to the very large (so far as small as 1/16" x 1/16" using 48 awg wire and as large as 18" in diameter x 3' long, layered wound with 29 awg wire), pot core, gap core, steel laminate, and custom made.

Mike Gaudette, Jr. has more than twenty years experience in the coil winding industry. He has been the President of Wirewinders for the past 12 years, and has many more years experience obtained while with a major defense contractor in a military manufacturing environment.

Mike Gaudette, Sr. serves as expert consultant and advisor--as he has been the COO of a coil winding industry leader for 25 years. He has extensive experience in the manufacture of electro-magnetic devices.

General Manager - Scott Gaudette

Our General Manager, Scott Gaudette, has 15 years experience in the coil winding industry. Scott's previous experience included work for a major medical equipment manufacturer where his duties included tool design and assembly instructions.
